It has been 10 years since Mt. St. Helens blew it's top and rained destruction down upon the area with devistating results. I had hoped to see a much more vibrant and rapid recovery than is evident in these pictures. Some areas are teeming with life while other areas are devoid of regrowth which presents a stark contrast and a reminder that if nature cannot recover very fast then we as human beings need to exercise care in our stewardship of Mother Earth. Enjoy my sights and perceptions of Mt. St. Helens.
